Mr. Maglin is a 20+ year Environmental Health and Safety Professional. He is also an experienced senior level career coach who advises and assesses executives, mid to senior level managers, and professionals regarding career direction, placement, leadership skills, transition, performance development, behavior modification and training.
Larry’s last assignment was with Trenton Iron & Metal Corporation. Larry was Director of EH&S Operations for (2) plants. He designed safety programs specific to the organization, updated compliance issues and streamlined operations and production.
Before that he was at OI Partners Gateway International as their COO. Larry was responsible for administrative, research, marketing and advisor & coaching staffs at all 12 locations, plus Division VP – Technology for the entire worldwide partnership.
Larry relocated to New Jersey 25 years ago where he joined a major industrial metal processor located in Jersey City. The company encompassed 14 locations in the tri-state area, with responsibilities for additional locations on the West Coast and New England. His responsibility grew until he was named Director of HR-EH&S for this $750M+ metal based business. Pryor to that, he worked in Rochester, NY for a number of years for a major manufacturer of chemical consumer products.
Larry originates from Massachusetts where he worked in the academic, hazardous waste, chemical / product manufacturing and construction products R&D industries. He has worked extensively with people in the IT, Pharma, Finance and Chemical industries.
He has a B.S. degree from Salem State University, Salem, MA in Environmental Science – Geology, with a double minor in math & chemistry. Larry is also board certified by the World Safety Organization as a “Certified Safety Manager”, “Certified Safety & Security Director” and “Registered Safety Director”.
